We understand that our office's work is important to the lives of almost all Henderson County residents and we are committed to keeping the office running. At this time, we are implementing state and federal recommendations as a preventative measure against the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Therefore, effective Monday, March 16th, the Henderson County Attorney's Office will be limiting in-office interactions to emergency situations only.

We encourage you to call our office, 270-827-5753, to conduct regular business instead of coming into our office. Staff will be in the office and available by phone and email.

CHILD SUPPORT: The Child Support Division will not accept in person payments during this time period. All payments should be made online, by phone with your caseworker or by mail to the state at: Child Support Division, PO Box 14059, Lexington, KY 40512. Please be sure to include your social security number and/or IV-D number on your check, money order or cashier's check. Remember, do not mail cash.

BAD CHECK / CATS PROGRAM / JAIL FEES: In-person payments will not be accepted during this time. Please call our office at 270-827-6008 to discuss your case.

EMERGENCY MATTERS: The office will remain open to assist with emergency guardianship, child neglect, mental health and Casey's Law matters. As always, the criminal prosecution division will remain available to law enforcement for emergencies at all times, day and night.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Hopefully, these steps will allow us to keep providing vital services to the public while also ensuring our staff is healthy and able to work.
Gold 001

The Office of the Henderson County Attorney affects the life of virtually every citizen of Henderson County. Through our Criminal Division, we prosecute all violations of criminal law within the district courts, including DUIs, cold checks, domestic violence, juvenile crime and conduct preliminary hearings on felony cases. Our office is led by a commitment to protect the future of our citizens and families. Ensuring that criminals are brought to justice in a firm, but fair manner, while addressing the concerns of the victims is my highest priority.

My staff and I also accept the challenging task of collecting child support and pursuing parents who neglect to pay. I strongly believe that ensuring that we meet the needs of our children is one of the most important aspects of a successful future for our community.

We are also the legal advisors to the Henderson County Fiscal Court and we assist the public in guardianship proceedings and Casey's Law petitions.

Your County Attorney’s Office has successful programs that are changing lives, providing assistance to victims, and helping our citizens build positive, productive lives. As your County Attorney, I will continue these efforts, while initiating new ideas to better serve you.

Please browse through our website and read about the work we are doing. I am proud to be your Henderson County Attorney, and proud of the services my staff and I are able to provide to you. I hope that the information here will answer any questions you may have. However, do not hesitate to contact me with further questions or comments.
