Current Investigations

Homicide: Danny Caldwell Jr. age 17 was shot to death during November 2006. His body was located in Robards Kentucky on the side of a rural roadway.

Assault: A female employee of the Sheriff's Office was attacked inside the courthouse during August 2004. The case is carried by Henderson City Police and worked jointly with the Henderson County Sheriff's Office.

Human Remains: Human remains were located in the Ohio River in Henderson County during July 2008. Efforts to identify the remains continue.

Burglary/Theft: The Henderson County Sheriff's Office receives reports of burglaries and thefts on a daily basis. Many remain open.
