Mission Statement:  

The Henderson-Henderson County Human Rights Commission endeavors to prevent and remedy issues of discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, gender, age, disability and familiar status.

Purpose Statement:   

The Commission shall cooperate with Federal, State, and local agencies, to develop harmonious relationships.  The Commission shall also enlist the support of community leaders and, civic, religious, labor, industrial and commercial groups dedicated to the improvement of such relations and elimination of discriminatory practices.
